Product Details
A tamping station holds the portafilter still so you can press straight down. Tamp freehand and the basket tilts, which tilts the puck. That is where a lot of uneven extraction starts.
A knurled thumbscrew clamps the portafilter against the cradle at a fixed angle. The 51-54mm collar lifts out to a 58mm seat beneath it. That one cradle then covers De'Longhi, Breville/Sage and E61 baskets. A front drawer and recessed wells keep your tamper, distributor and spare basket in one spot.
