Product Details

A puck screen sits on top of your tamped coffee, between the puck and the machine's shower screen. It spreads incoming water across the whole puck face before pre-infusion. That reduces the localised pressure that starts channelling in the first seconds of a shot.

It also catches stray grounds, so the machine's shower screen stays cleaner between cleans. This one is a loose-fit disc. It rests on the puck and is held by the basket wall, with no magnet or clip. The mesh is 150 micron stainless. A thicker screen takes up basket headspace, so on a full dose you may need to grind or dose slightly less. Rinse it after each shot and reuse it.
